No Computer? Use the Epson FF-680W with just a phone

Scanning your photos is now more accessible than before! The Epson FastFoto app can be downloaded to your phone or iPad allowing you to scan directly from the Epson FastFoto-680W - no computer required.

Whether you have a drawer full of old family photos, important documents or special mementos, the Epson FastFoto app is designed to help you digitise, organise, and share all from your phone, making it a good option if you do not have access to a computer. If you do have access to a computer, we would recommend using Epson FastFoto on your computer over the app on your phone or tablet as it provides a better overall experience with scanning at faster speeds and less connectivity challenges. 

1. Download the App: The FastFoto app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Simply visit the App Store or Google Play Store and download the app to your smartphone or tablet.
2. Set Up Your Scanner: Plug the Epson FastFoto-680W into the mains, turn it on and then connect directly to your phone via Wi-Fi using the FastFoto App. No computer is needed for this setup.
3. Scan Your Photos: Place your photos into the scanner and press start scanning on your phone. The app’s intuitive interface will guide you through the scanning process- in the advanced options you can change the scan resolution, select auto correction and auto enhancements. These tools help revive faded or damaged photos, ensuring your digital versions look as good, if not better, than the originals. 
4. Enhance and Edit: After you’ve scanned the photos you can also use the app’s built-in tools to enhance your photos. Enhance colours, crop & rotate images and remove red-eye with a few taps on your phone. 
5. Organise Your Collection: Once your photos are scanned, use the app’s organising tools to tag and sort them. Create albums based on events, dates, or themes, and add descriptive tags to make searching easier.
6. Share Your Memories: With your photos digitised, you can easily share them via email, messaging apps, social media or cloud services directly from your phone. The photos will also be saved directly to your photo camera roll.
